Edz Central

A personal life record and expense tracker, with the Life Record Android app.

Edz Central is a personal project by Edwin Roosevelt. It keeps a private record of one person's day-to-day life in one place: a diary, notes and photos, trips, and spending. Life Record is its Android app.

What it does

• Spending (Kakeibo). Bank SMS alerts and statements become transactions to review and categorise.
• Receipt details from Gmail. With your permission, Edz Central reads the merchant's receipt or booking email for a payment (for example a food order, an online purchase or a hotel booking) and fills in what the payment was for. Gmail access is read-only.
• Diary, notes and trips. Entries, photos, trip plans and bookings on one timeline.
• Shared expenses. Split group spending and track who owes whom.

Who can use it

Edz Central is built for personal use by its author and is not offered as a public service. Signing in with Google and connecting Gmail are optional. See the privacy policy for exactly what is read and kept.
